The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from 6th Street. The friendly staff, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking after a long day out. I had some trouble with noise from the bar below, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. I appreciated the vibrant setting, but I wish the facilities were a bit quieter.

Firehouse Hostel had a fantastic location right next to 6th Street. The staff were friendly and ensured that I felt right at home. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked, perfect for whipping up meals after a long day.

The location scores big, right near vibrant nightlife hotspots and food joints like Voodoo Doughnuts. The kitchen caters well to meal prep, stocked with all the essentials for late-night cravings after a long day.
Rooms feel cramped, and unfortunately, you might find yourself waking up with the bass thumping from the bar below. The bathrooms aren't up to par, showing signs of neglect, with thin walls making privacy questionable. Bedding issues popped up too, as some sheets could use a serious clean-definitely not what you want to deal with after a long journey.

The location is prime for foodies, with Voodoo Doughnuts and Iron Cactus Mexican Restaurant just a hop away. Plus, the shared kitchen is a rad spot for whipping up some late-night snacks after a wild evening.
You can't really catch some z's between 4 pm and 2 am with the bass thumping from the bar below. The walls are paper-thin.
